This year our program is looking to bring our efficiency and hustle in running our Ed Spring Holiday Classic and the Southern Section CIF Individual Championships to our first annual "BREA BASH" Frosh-Soph Dual Format Tournament! By providing a great tournament with opportunities for young wrestlers to each get in 4-5 matches on a Saturday morning, coaches get to coach and build their athletes match by match. Instead of potentially only getting two matches and waiting with a team all day, they will get to bash it up with other wrestlers their grade and level.
It is our goal to run a great tournament for the athletes, coaches, officials and spectators! Bring your team up the hill to have fun and build camaraderie early in the season!
Format: 16 Teams, 5 duals each team
AWARDS:
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Team Trophies
Top 3 Wrestlers in each weight class medal
WEIGHT CLASSES:
CIF FEDERATION (Plus 2 pound allowance) 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, HWT
ELIGIBLE:
Freshmen & Sophomores Only, No Juniors or Seniors
ADMISSION:
$6.00 Adult - $4.00 Students w/ASB - $5.00 student w/out ASB – Children under 8 w/Parent are free.
Coaches will receive two (2) passes for the event
There will be concessions available for athletes and spectators, and a Coaches/Officials hospitality room available.
